Today, as we gather in gratitude to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, the Word of God offers us a message that could not be more fitting: a message of welcome, mercy, and mission that crosses every border.

In recognition of this special observance, The Texas Catholic is highlighting the fruitful efforts of three Bible study groups from Diocese of Dallas parishes — St. Pius X Catholic Parish, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Parish, and St. Rita Catholic Community — as they endeavor to open the hearts and minds of their communities to the abiding Word of God.
