All moms are superheroes, and Kelsey Gillespy is no exception. As mom to five children aged 10 and younger, she not only manages the normal duties of a mother and a wife, but also takes on the great task of education by homeschooling her children. As if that wasn’t already a lot, she recently added on to her impressive list of accomplishments: published author.

Youth, young adults share WYD experience at home

As she sat on the campus of St. Ann Catholic Parish, 23-year-old Ale Taliente admitted she would have loved the opportunity to have joined the pilgrims in Lisbon, Portugal. She was grateful, though, to capture that spirit here in north Texas, joining hundreds of high schoolers and young adults for World Youth Day Takes Dallas.

Dicastery dialogue focuses on evangelization, catechesis in U.S.

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops recently hosted a significant dialogue on catechesis and evangelization, welcoming Archbishop Salvatore Fisichella and his team from the Dicastery for Evangelization for discussions with diocesan representatives during the 2023 Spring Plenary Assembly on June 13 in Orlando. Among those in attendance was Diocese of Dallas Senior Director of Ministries Peter J. Ductrám, who was invited by USCCB as a regional diocesan representative.
