With Bibles in tow, the St. Jude Collin County Juvenile Detention Center Ministry teams trek through a maze of hallways and past a series of heavy metal doors to bring the light of Christ into the confines of Collin County’s juvenile detention center, illuminating the young hearts and minds within.
Those who accompany the incarcerated have said there is a lot to do in ministering to a population that has committed crimes and had to live with the consequences of those actions.
As a part of Dallas Kolbe Prison Ministries, volunteers minister to inmates by offering them the opportunity to encounter God and His Church during three-day retreats in prison—transforming these Texas correctional facilities into holy places of worship.
