“Called to serve.” The phrase embodies a core mission and ministry of Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep. It also served as an inspiration for the formation of the Blessed Theresa Rosary Society, a student-led organization fostering spiritual growth on the southeast Dallas campus.

They are teachers; they are administrators; they are missionaries — the spiritual and educational pillars of their communities, providing a firm foundation of faith, academics, and well-rounded excellence in north Texas schools.

A pair of decorated cakes added a celebratory spirit, but for those in attendance, a workman-like demeanor fueled discussions Oct. 21 at a Diocese of Dallas synodal listening session at Cristo Rey Dallas College Preparatory School. The gathering marked the final of 30 listening sessions over nearly two-and-a-half years, planned as part of the preparatory phase of the Diocese of Dallas Synod.
Few people possess enough ambition to complete a 33-year decorated military career, earn a Ph.D. and found a company in a subsequent 10-year civilian career.
