The Texas Catholic, the official newspaper of the Diocese of Dallas, winner of numerous awards, and a member of the Catholic Press Association, was founded by Bishop Thomas F. Brennan in 1891. While that original incarnation ceased publication after Bishop Brennan’s resignation, the diocesan newspaper was revived in 1952 by Bishop Thomas K. Gorman.
Michael Gresham is the editor-in-chief of The Texas Catholic and Revista Católica Dallas. An award-winning editor and writer, he oversees editorial content across all publication platforms, including newspapers, magazines, newsletters, podcasts and digital properties. He joined the team at The Texas Catholic and Revista Católica Dallas in 2012 following a successful career in secular media, serving as both and editor and publisher of several community newspapers in north Texas.
Amy White is an award-winning reporter for The Texas Catholic. Amy grew up in small-town Texas with her boisterous, Catholic family. She graduated summa cum laude from Ave Maria University with a double major in communications and politics before returning to north Texas to share the good news in the Diocese of Dallas.
Constanza Morales was born in Bogota, Colombia and graduated from Universidad de la Sabana as a journalist. She started her career as a magazine writer before moving to the U.S. to receive a master’s degree in investigative journalism at Florida International University. She joined the Diocese of Dallas in 2018 as the managing editor for the Spanish publication named El Católico de Texas. She was the head of the team that in 2011 redesigned the publication and created Revista Católica Dallas. Constanza and her husband Jorge have been married for 18 years and have two kids.
