St. Rita Clap Off-8680 (Demo)

St. Rita Catholic School Alumni

Each year, St. Rita Catholic School students line the hallways to clap and cheer as eighth graders walk one last time through school prior to graduating. The Class of 2020 eighth graders, however, did not get that opportunity as schools were operating remotely due to the pandemic. As part of this year’s Catholic Schools Week celebration, members of that class were welcomed back for the special Mass and their very “Clap Out” celebration.

St. Rita school community rallies to support Ukraine

Agnès Denvir teaches Spanish and other foreign languages to fifth and sixth graders at St. Rita Catholic School. The French native speaks a dozen languages, can read about a half dozen more, yet struggled to find the proper words to describe the recent Ukrainian support efforts at the school — begun at her urging — that raised more than $25,000.
